Dress for Success
Why?
- Shows audience your presentation is important
- Helps you have good poise - appearing calm and confident
How?
- Dress in clothes that are considered “professional”
- Google “professional dress or professional attire” if you need to see samples
- Ask a parent or guardian for assistance.
- You do NOT need to buy a new outfit
Items of clothing considered dressed up or formal:
- Collared shirt
- Dress pants
- Khakis or cords- they do not have to be a specific color!
- Dress shirt
- Button down shirt
- Nice sweater or jacket
- Skirt or dress for girls - no mini skirts
- Skirts or dresses must reach your palms when arms are straight
Items considered NOT dressed up or formal
- Sweat pants or Sweatshirts
- Shorts
- Jeans
- Ripped clothing
- Tight or revealing clothing
- Yoga or workout attire
NOTE:
- Formal clothing may NEVER violate school dress code
- No hats may be worn during ANY presentations
******You may NOT get changed during class time.
