Numerous special education activities are available for children, some in Warren schools, some not affiliated with the
district. Some will have a fee schedule, some will not. If you have any questions about the programs, please contact

Somerset County Parks Therapeutic Recreation

questions, please contact Dina Trunzo, Manager, at 908 526 5650, fax 908 429-5508. Somerset County Parks provides year round indoor and outdoor recreation programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities residing in Somerset County. Most programs require a small fee to participate.

Somerset Cty. Park Commission TR - Rizzo

Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 10 am to 1 pm at TR Activity Ctr, North Branch Park, 355 Milltown Rd, Bridgewater
Reptiles, furry creatures and amazing animals are waiting with a special guest from Rizzo's Wildlife Word -- Making lunch and other activities will be offered for a fun-filled Saturday. Somerset Cty. Park Commission TR - Saturday Soccer with Siblings

Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 10:15-11:15am at TR Activity Ctr, North Branch Park, 355 Milltown Rd, Bridgewater
Saturdays, April 27 and May 4, 11, and 18th - Coach Aly Gust will help kids learn the basic skills of soccer through non-competitive games and skill building activities, including controlling the soccer ball, dribbling, and scoring a goal. Shin guards must be worn. This program is open to ages 6-12 and siblings in this age group may also join the child with special needs. Fee $40 per person. acrobatDownload Form

Somerset Cty. Park Commission TR - Kids Rally Ball (Tennis) Ages 6-12

Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 6-7:00 pm at Green Knoll Tennis Center, Garretson Rd, Bridgewater
Tennis pro Mike Watson and his staff will help children learn basic skills of the game. Specialized equipment, slightly modified fundamentals, short court, and other accommodations will be made to make it easy and fun. Please bring a youth or regular size tennis racquet each week. 5 sessions starting May 22 at Green Knoll Tennis Center. Fee $70. acrobatDownload Form
