Bienvenue à la classe de français! 

Student Expectations:

  1. Respect the teacher and your fellow classmates
  2. Come prepared to class with pencil, eraser, notebook and homework
  3. Enter classroom quietly, sit in assigned seat and begin “Faites Maintenant” (“Do Now”)
  4. Raise your hand and wait to be called on to speak
  5. Only one person speaks at a time
  6. Speak in French 90% of class time

Discipline Plan:

  1. Warning – name on board
  2. Check next to name – lunch reflection and parent contacted
  3. Two checks next to name – refer to Ms. Mensinger

Materials needed:

  1. Looseleaf notebook with two sections (Class notes and Homework)
  2. Pencils with eraser
  3. Dry erase marker and eraser
  4. Dry erase board (optional if you do not want to use one provided in desk)
  5. Optional – pocket folder for handouts, colored pencils

Grade breakdown:

  • Tests: 100 points
  • Projects: 100 points
  • Quizzes: 50 points
  • Class Participation/preparation: 10 points weekly
  • Homework: 10 points

Additional information:

  • No tests or quizzes on Mondays
  • Homework assignments posted on Google Classroom
  • No homework on weekends or vacations
  • Textbooks stay at home (we will have a class set at school)
  • Grades updated in Genesis as available
