• Student Guidelines for Responsible Generative AI Use: Grades 6–8

Students in grades K-4 will have access to Chromebooks in their classrooms.  Teachers will balance written work and technology literacy skills. Students in grades 5-8 are assigned a specific Chromebook and are responsible for its care and maintenance. Students in grades 6-8 will take their device home nightly; in grade 5, this begins later in the year. District-issued devices are to be used only for district-assigned purposes. All families must sign and adhere to the acceptable use policy.
