STUDENT LEADERSHIP ASSOCIATION held by Mr. Kilroy in the Innovation Station

Tuesdays, 7:45 AM – 8:45 AM, beginning September through May

Grades 4 & 5 

Students will be required to demonstrate leadership qualities and will serve as representatives of their peers.  This club dedicates itself to enhancing Woodland by having our members take an active role as school leaders, demonstrate character, assist in service outreach, act as school ambassadors, support school wide projects, and many other worthy activities.  *Please note: This club meets before school and runs from September through May.



ARTS & CRAFTS CLUB held by Mrs. Leonard in Room #4

Tuesdays, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM, beginning February 5th through May 21st

Grades 1 & 2 

Students will make a variety of projects, some seasonal, using paint, construction paper, glue, fabric, and a variety of other materials. 


LITTLE LEADERS CLUB held by Mrs. Mironski and Ms. Traynor in Room #10

Tuesdays, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM, beginning February 5th through May 21st

Grades 1, 2 & 3 

Students will explore the qualities of being a successful leader.  Students will engage in activities designed to reflect and promote the 6 pillars of character.  Students will use this opportunity to develop a strong sense of self and community.  This club will give our youngest students an introduction to creating, designing and implementing school-wide projects.



BOARD GAMES CLUB held by Mrs. Stolfi in Room #2

Wednesdays, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM, three 5-week sessions

Grades K, 1 & 2 - Maximum of 12 students per session

Students will enroll in ONE of the three sessions. 

Session 1: February 6-March 6

Session 2: March 13 - April 10

Session 3: April 24 - May 22

Students will learn to play several classic board and card games. This club also encourages valuable social skills such as: waiting one's turn, following directions, communication, and fair play. 


SERVICE CLUB held by Mrs. Beekman-Brink in Room # 9 

Wednesdays, 3:30  PM - 4:30 PM, beginning February 6th through May 22nd

 Grades 3, 4 & 5 

Students will participate in activities that will benefit their school, community and various charitable organizations.


LITTLE FEET WALKING CLUB held by Ms. Scuderi and Ms. Barber in Room #26

Wednesdays, 3:30  PM - 4:30 PM, beginning February 6th through May 22nd

Grades 1 & 2 

Students will learn the benefits of physical fitness and healthy exercise. They will participate in walking activities and challenges, earning "toe ken" rewards for each mile of walking, which they will proudly wear on a neclace.



BOOK BUDDIES CLUB held by Ms. Nizri and Ms. Traynor in Room #30 

Thursday mornings, 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM, beginning February 7th through May 23rd

Grades  1, 2, 3 & 4                                                                                                                

Students will practice reading skills in a relaxed and collaborative environment. They will have the opportunity to create presentations, practice public speaking skills, and embrace their love for reading in fun and engaging ways! Students will be paired with various partners of different grades to buddy read and learn from each other. 


PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB held by Mrs. Brink in Room #9

Thursday mornings, 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM, beginning February 7th through May 23rd

Grades  2, 3, 4, & 5   

Students will explore various picture-taking techniques with focus on: different perspectives, lighting, nature, people, structures and more. Students will also use various photography apps.
