Students and staff are very excited for the annual Read Across America Day Celebration this Friday, March 2nd.  Thank you to Mrs. Zaleski for organizing the day.  The day will consist of many wonderful events geared towards the importance of reading.

Here are a few quick reminders:

  •  Students and staff are encouraged to dress as a character from book.  Please remember that this is not a Halloween costume day.  Students should think of a literary character from a book that they have read.   No masks or weapons of any kind are allowed with the costume.
  •  There will be a Photo booth for students to have their picture taken.   Photos will be $1 each and the proceeds will be going to The Bridge of Books Foundation, a NJ based organization that distributes books to underserved children through various agencies, schools and youth organizations across NJ. Also, the PTO is in need of volunteers to help supervise the photo booth.
