Good evening Woodland Families,

    It was truly wonderful seeing all of the students as they entered Woodland School with excitement and energy for the 2017-2018 school year.  The students spent the first two days meeting their teachers and learning about all of the great things they will be doing this year in their classrooms.   The opening week culminated with a Pep Rally where students cheered on the introductions of every staff member of the Woodland Family.  Students also demonstrated their knowledge of the summer reading book during a fun trivia game.   We are all very excited about the school year and look forward to all of the memories we will make together.   I want to take this opportunity to remind you about some important events this week:

           Monday, September 11-   Simply Gourmet begins

                                                 Ice cream Mondays begin  (Please send your child with $1 if he/she would like to buy ice cream)

           Tuesday, September 12-   Lifetouch Student Picture Day

           Wednesday September 13-   7pm New Parent Meeting, 7:30pm PTO meeting  (both in library)

           Friday, September 15-   Woodland Spirit Day-  Students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite Sports Jersey
