Good afternoon Woodland students,

       I hope that you are having a wonderful summer!  It is hard to believe that we are quickly approaching mid-August.  I am looking forward to seeing everyone on the first day of school.  We have a lot of great things planned for the year!!    I just wanted to remind you to read "So You Want to be President" by Judith St. George and David Small prior to the start of the school year.  The book can be purchased through Amazon or bought at Barnes and Noble.  I also have several copies that can be borrowed from the Main Office at Woodland School.  (We are here Monday-Thursday from 8-3:30 for the remainder of the summer).   Our school wide theme of "Leadership" will be centered on this enjoyable book so it is very important that you read it before the start of school.  Again, I look forward to seeing all of you soon.  Enjoy the remainder of the summer.
