Hello third grade families, honorary-family members, and caregivers!
My name is Karly Trimble, and I am so excited to be your child's third grade teacher this year. A Warren native, I grew up in the Warren Township School District. Following my graduation from Watchung Hills, I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Mississippi--go Rebels!--in Oxford, Mississippi, where I lived and worked following my graduation.
Though I loved the charm of a small southern town, I moved back to Warren and began my career in education at Mt. Horeb as a preschool paraprofessional and later went on to teach third grade at a local private school. I came back to Mt. Horeb during the 2023-2024 school year while I pursue a graduate education at Montclair State University!
Some of my favorite hobbies include running, working out, cooking, and writing! I have a very creative mind, and that is best seen on paper or in the kitchen! I am also an avid Miami Dolphins fan, and I've taken it upon myself to abandon the long-time family tradition of being a NY Mets fan and opted for Yankees pinstripes instead. It's still a sore topic of conversation amongst the Trimbles...
Otherwise, I'm a pet parent to my mini labradoodle, (Archie) and love animals! Just a little about me to help you get to know me more! I look forward to getting to know you all as the year goes on!
