Reminders

*Please be sure to check your child’s folder each day.  Important documents and information will be sent through your child’s folder.

*Please label everything that comes into school with your child, so we can ensure it goes home with the right family. Water bottles, lunchboxes, sweatshirts, blankets, etc.

*If there is any last-minute changes to your child’s normal dismissal schedule, please call or email the office and me to make us aware of the change, as we want to ensure your child gets home safely.  Unfortunately, I am unable to check my email and classdojo often enough throughout the day and might not see a message until the end of the day if you only reach out to me.

Preschool Gross Motor Activities:

As the weather permits, we go outside at least twice a day for gross motor activities and the playground. We also sometimes will take adventures around the school for nature walks. With that being said, please help your child be best prepared for the weather.

*Sneakers: Please send your child with sneakers on each day or a shoe with a closed back to it since movement exercises are a part of our daily routine. Provide additional shoes in your child's backpack to change into if need be.

*Warm Weather: If your child needs sunscreen outside, please apply the sunscreen on your child before coming to school. Please also make sure you send your child to school with water each day.  Either a bottle or a reusable bottle works!

*Cold Weather: As weather permits, we will go outside twice each day. This means going outside in colder weather.  Please send your child to school with appropriate clothes depending on the weather.  Feel free to also put items in their backpack such as mittens, hats, etc. that you would like them to wear while outside, since they will not need these items on the bus or car ride to school.
