Instructional Specialist
Mrs. M. Smolenski
Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in English, a master's degree in Special Education and a supervisor's certificate. She has worked as both an elementary and middle school teacher in general and special education classrooms. Melissa has been a teacher in Warren since 2008, during which she has served as a school technology coach, as a district presenter and on many curriculum committees. She has worked closely with various district consultants, including those at Gravity Goldberg and Conquer Math. This is Melissa's fifth year as an instructional specialist in the district, and this year she will continue to collaborate with teachers on ways to implement strategies that enhance and refine instruction.
