 6/7/8/ Spring Orchestra Concert- Thursday, April 29, 2025, at 7 PM in our WMS APR

 Students are encouraged to practice at least

75 minutes each week and know their music for the orchestra classes.

Students are graded in performance, participation and occasional testing.

The Music dept. uses regular academic grading for the 2024-25 school year.

 6th Grade Information
*6th grade in-school weekly string lessons are given weekly throughout the school year.
Students are required and graded accordingly to come to all weekly in-school lessons.
6th grade days are Mondays/Tuesdays, periods 5,6,7 and 8
The students were given a hard copy of their lesson schedule
and the lesson schedule is also posted online).


Parents and students can find their in-school lesson schedule (day/period) online at the WMS home page. 
*Students are excused from in-school lessons for labs, tests and research papers. Please notify me about your absence!
(Please try to make up your lesson on another period/day with your grade level.
Use your judgement which lesson group/day to attend!

  7th & 8th Grade Information
*7th & 8th grade in-school string lessons continue throughout the school year.
