6th Grade Info Sleuths

Grab your notebook and magnifying glass and get ready to investigate!  In Info Sleuths, you will investigate ways to analyze and use digital and print information responsibly to learn and problem solve.  You will also use text, visuals and voice to share or present information.

Info Sleuths is made up of three skill-based units that will also include interdisciplinary connections with Egypt’s King Tutankhamun and NASA’s quest to put a man on the moon.

7th Grade Communications Lab

Communications Lab provides you with opportunities to experiment with using your voice and body to effectively communicate information with clarity and confidence.

Communications Lab is made up of three skill-based units that will include daily opportunities for you to practice and improve your speaking and communications skills in a variety of real-world and creative scenarios.

8th Grade Voice & Vision: The Art of Communication

Voice & Vision: The Art of Communication gives you the opportunity to combine your skills in researching, writing, integrating visuals, and using your voice and body to develop and deliver a public presentation about a topic of your choosing.  Possible presentation formats include TED Talks, podcasts, news interviews or broadcasts, sports interviews or broadcasts, or a comedy set,  and you will have the choice of working individually or as part of a small team.

Voice & Vision: The Art of Communication is made up of three units that take you through the entire process of creating and delivering your public presentation.
