Cross Country
Cross Country Tryouts are Tuesday, September 12 and Wednesday, September 13 after school until 4PM. YOU MUST BE MARKED ELIGIBLE IN GENESIS TO TRYOUT. Meet in the gym after school dressed appropriately to run (running shoes, shorts, t-shirt). Remember to bring a FULL water bottle. You will need a ride home at 4PM. WMS is participating in the 11 Days of
Kindness and Unity Challenge
On September 11, 2001, 2,977 people lost their lives and the world pledged to “never forget.” The Pay it Forward 9/11 campaign seeks to honor those 2,977 AND all of the heroes who jumped into action.
Inspired by the people of Gander, Newfoundland and the incredible kindness shown to the 6,579 passengers who were stranded there for several days, the Pay it Forward campaign seeks to restore the kindness and unity the world witnessed in the days following the attack.
The goal of the campaign is to perform at least 23,000 good deeds during the 11 days of kindness and unity. Just think of the impact we could all have if we each did something kind for someone…and then that person paid it forward and did something kind for someone else??
Let’s see how many acts of kindness we can do in the next 11 days!!!
