Today is

National Tea Day

Tomorrow is Earth Day!  It’s YOUR planet!

If everyone does just ONE thing (pick up garbage, plant a tree, reduce single use plastic), imagine what a difference it could make.  Stop by Ms. Mensinger’s office to take a little quiz and see how much plastic you use (during WIN only).

Jane Goodall said, “You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you.  What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of a difference you want to make.”

Get your yearbook today!  Yearbooks are only $27.  The last day to purchase your yearbook online is Friday, April 28.  After that, yearbooks will only be available to purchase in person for $35.  Please email Ms. Dock or Ms. Einiger if you have any questions.

Library News

Attention, 8th graders

The library is hosting three special guest presentations during WIN today, Thursday, and Friday. These events will help prepare and inspire you for Capstone. Library doors will be open to all who are interested.

Spring Teams

Won our home game against Franklyn today!!! Ahn had a great double play and rounding Romero at home! Slater had great plays at first and got the runners out. Romero struck out 9 batters. Overall everyone played well, it was a great victory!

The bats came alive for the boys' baseball team yesterday as they defeated Franklin 16-6.  Lucas Ricci was unstoppable at the plate going 4 for 4 with 3 triples and a double.  Ryan Sackett started the game on the mound and left with a big lead, giving the ball to Danny Mendoza to pitch a gem to close the game. Ryan Sackett, Dom DiBella, Aarav Patel, Bennett Dealaman, Joe Miller, and Joe Guerra all added hits in the game.  In the end, everyone contributed to a great team win!
