Morning Announcements

 

Halloween Guidelines

Cohort A will be permitted to wear costumes on Tuesday, Oct. 27.  Cohorts B and C will be permitted to wear costumes on Friday, Oct. 30. Costumes are optional for all students. Students that choose to participate must follow these guidelines:

1. Students must arrive in costume and will not have the ability to change during the school day.

2. All costumes must be school appropriate.  Students will not be permitted to wear any item not compliant with our school dress code.

3. Masks that cover the full face are not allowed.  Students will still be required to wear their gaiter or face mask to comply with District rules for school safety.  

4. Students will not be permitted to wear any item which may be a safety hazard.

5. WEAPONS OF ANY TYPE are not permitted.  

6. Inflatable costumes are allowed as long as the student’s face is visible. 

The WMS Pep Club will be hosting a virtual costume contest for all WMS students.  All WMS students have received contest directions via email.  

In addition, our WMS PTO will be providing each student with Halloween treats as part of the celebration.  Thank you to Mrs. Degen and Mrs. Brezee for their assistance with enhancing the WMS Halloween tradition.

Retake/missed picture day?  Retake day is scheduled for November 2nd and Cohort D at 12:50 PM.  Please contact Mrs. Berry via email at gberry@warrentboe.org if you plan on a retake or missed the previous days.

Teacher/Parent conference letter was emailed to parents yesterday. Please check your email for detailed information. Conferences are scheduled for November 2 - 4.
