Today is Day A

 

Yoga Club has been permanently canceled for the spring. Students who were planning to attend Yoga starting on February 4 should go home on their regular bus.

 

Spring Clubs start next week! If you are enrolled in a Spring Club, and did not turn in a permission slip back in October, be sure to bring it to Ms. Hunt in Room 43 as soon as possible. You will not be able to stay after school without a permission slip.

 

The Future Freshmen ads for the 2020 Yearbook are now on sale. This is a unique opportunity for you to send a message to your 8th grader(s) that will bring smiles to their faces, for years to come. The last few pages of the yearbook contain the Future Freshmen ads.  The ad purchase requires two parts. First, you must login to Lifetouch and purchase the ad. Once you order an ad, you should receive an email from Lifetouch with directions on how to upload a photo and add your message. The picture and message must be submitted by March 2nd.   

 

The order for the Future Freshmen ad is separate from the purchase of the yearbook.  

All ordering is done online. Order your yearbook and ad for your 8th grader now by going to https://ybpay.lifetouch.com. The ID code is 13393420.

Sports Announcement for Spring

 

“The girls basketball team beat Montgomery Middle School Friday, 31-20! 

 

Please come cheer the girls on today after school for their last Home game against Franklin Middle School at 4pm!”

 

Spring sports sign ups for baseball, softball, and track are now open on genesis.  Please sign up and have all paperwork by March 2 to the nurse.

Next PTO meeting 9am ~ Febuary 11th.  

 

WMS Book Fair ~ 27th -31st January

The fair is open for students 1/28-1/31.  

On 27th it is open for teacher previews and final set up.  

Open after school until late buses on Wednesday for all.

  Food days always needs more volunteers to help serve.    Tuesdays and Thursdays in particular need more bodies to serve.  Our substitute list too could do with more volunteers - as we are short of help on a number of days.

The Lost and Found has started to fill up. There are even names on some items - so someone cares about it coming home!   Don't be embarrassed - come and check it out in the APR at lunchtime and reclaim your lost or missing property - !! 

There are lunch boxes, water bottles, hats, shorts, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets and even a shirt with birds on it!
