Cross Country Practice is cancelled today due to the forecast.

The Cross Country Team were very successful at yesterday’s Summit Invitational. With over 600 runners in four different races, five girls and five boys earned medals for their efforts. Lauren Kim, Melina Rebimbas, Grace Martin, Ellie Wojie and Jia Khandagale for the girls and David Hatcher, Zach Morrison, Ryan Getzoff, Andrew Conway and Dylan Blekicki for the boys. What a great effort by all of them.

 

Tomorrow there is a home meet against Green Brook. All members are welcome. ~ Mrs. Boni and Mrs. Bardy

 

All 8th graders received an email to apply to attend a special Mayhem Poets presentation at the New Jersey State Theater on November 27th. Remember to take a look at this great enrichment opportunity!! Any questions, see Mrs. Cooper

 

Attention all 8th graders, are you interested in working on your class yearbook? If so come to an informational meeting in the guidance informational meeting in the guidance office with Mrs. Alger and Ms. Regal on Friday, October 12th during your guide period. We will be available for both guide periods that day. Please be sure to check in with your guide teacher before coming to guidance.  ~ Ms. Alger & Mrs. Regal

 

The boys soccer team defeated Readington yesterday 3-1. The team ot off to a quick start with Brady Seifert scoring a goal in the first minute of play. Adding goals were Leo Morales and Tiago Fonseca. Good effort by everyone. The team plays their last home game against Somerville this Friday.  plays at Readington today.  ~ Mr. O’Heney

 

Are you interested in changing people's perceptions about different cultures and peoples? A new club called Celebrating Diversity is starting on Thursdays. It will focus on celebrating the identities, cultures and interests of various groups within the school community. Students will learn about and share meaningful ways to understand the diversity within our school community. Email Ms Scully, hscully@warrentboe.org  or Ms Pierson, bpierson@warrentboe.org if you would like to join this club. Boys Basketball tryouts will be held November 13th-16th.  There will be an informational meeting at 745 AM on October 16th in the back gym

 

The http://formreleaf.com website will open for boys and girls basketball on Sept. 24th at 9:00 a.m. If you are interested in trying out for basketball you MUST register on FormReleaf.com AND submit a current physical or health history update form. Health History update forms are only to be used if a current physical is already on file. Forms must be submitted to the WMS Health Office NO LATER than October 26th.

The Deadline for FormReleaf registration and paperwork submission is October 26th. NO FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER OCTOBER 26TH.

Don’t forget that lunch orders for 2018 November / December at Warren Middle School are due now!  The run will close at the end of day this Friday, October 12th. Please make sure all orders are placed and paid for prior to the close of the run.

You can order by going to https://secure.myfooddays.com/ then signing in and following the instructions to fill out your order online.

Dear Families,

Our school is looking to raise funds via Box Top and Amazon Smile.  All of these methods will generate money for our school at NO COST to you.

Box Tops! We would love your support in collecting them. Box Tops are located on many items and they are worth 10 cents each. All you have to do is cut them out and send them to school with your child.  Please see the attach document for detail information.
