There is cross country practice today. There will be our first meet tomorrow after school. Wear your jersey and bring a water bottle. For questions please see: Mrs. Boni or Mrs. Bardy.

This is the second week of clubs. Some of you did not get a club on all the days you requested and were placed on a waiting list. If a slot has opened in a club you were waiting for, an e-mail has been sent to you to confirm your continued interest in that club. Please check your e-mail and respond by the end of today, Tuesday, September 25. If you do not respond, you will be deleted from the club and its waiting list.

Remember that you must bring your signed permission slip to Ms. Hunt in room 43 before you can attend a club. A list of clubs and the rooms where they meet is on Ms. Hunt’s door. Please e-mail Ms. Hunt with any questions.

If any 8th grader is interested in applying for Peer Leaders must attend a mandatory meeting on September 28th during guide. Come to the meeting when you have guide. We will have a meeting for each guide. The meeting will be held in Mrs. Degen’s room, which is room 50. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Degen or Mrs. Cooper. Thank you!

The boys soccer team defeated Wil Ann Middle School yesterday 3-1. Good defense and strong play by the midfield were the keys to victory. Arion Ulaj netted the first goal with a gorgeous 23 yard free kick. Alex Carnevale got the second goal by breaking through the defense and outsmarting the goalie. Leo Morales then sealed the victory with a goal from an assist from Aaron Opell.

Because of the weather, practice today is cancelled. Please go home on the bus. Coach O'Heney

The girls soccer team had another stellar performance on the pitch yesterday.  It was a great team effort especially on the back end as the defense limited Ridge to only a few shots Megan Carmody made some amazing saves to preserve the 2-0 shutout.  Bella Valenti ripped the first goal of the game in the upper 90. Then Jenna Tobia sealed the game in final ten minutes.
Come see the team Wednesday vs Branchburg on the turf at 4:00pm 

The http://formreleaf.com website will open for boys and girls basketball on Sept. 24th at 9:00 a.m.  If you are interested in trying out for basketball you MUST register on FormReleaf.com AND submit a current physical or health history update form.
