Sports at WMS

Welcome to Warren Middle School!

We have several opportunities for you to participate in interscholastic sports at WMS.

The sport teams at WMS are:

Fall – Boys and Girls Cross Country 

          Boys and Girls Soccer

Winter – Boys and Girls Basketball

Spring – Boys and Girls Track

    Boys Baseball

    Girls Softball

These teams are formed on a tryout basis.

In order to tryout for a sport at WMS, interested athletes must complete a State of N.J. Sports Phyiscal Examination form. 

These forms are available on the Warren Middle School website under Activites and Athletics or on the internet by searching NJ Preparticipation Physical Evaluation History Form.

The due date to submit forms for the Fall sports season is August 28th.  Make sure when submitting your sports forms, you include your updated 6th grade immunization record including the Tdap and Meningitis vaccines, and include all emergency medication forms such as Anaphylaxis forms, Asthma forms, Diabetes health plans.  

*If you are not getting your 6th grade immunizations until after the start of school in August, please indicate the date when they will be administered* Students need to be fully vaccinated to participate in interscholastic sports.

When the Genesis portal opens for the incoming 6th grade class you are required to register for the sport you wish to participate in. Registration is done through the athletics tab in Genesis. 

Athletic forms can also be uploaded to Genesis via the forms tab, but you can also drop off sports physical forms during the summer directly to Warren Middle School in the dropbox: Attn Nurse Lontai.
