FOOD ALLERGIES & GOOD NUTRITION
We have students in our school that are highly allergic to certain foods and substances. Please avoid bringing in foods containing those substances for class parties. Let’s work together to keep our students safe, healthy and not isolated.
In order to keep our children safe, nuts may only be consumed in the lunchroom. They will not be permitted at class parties.
Good nutrition is a vital part of learning and will aid in keeping our students healthy. Please make sure your child eats breakfast every day. They will be more alert and attentive.
Please consider healthy foods for lunch, snacks and treats on a regular basis. Some suggestions for snacks are fruits, pretzels, granola bars, applesauce, yogurt, cheese, rice cakes, raisins, carrot sticks, celery and cucumbers.
