The Warren Township School District believes that every student has the ability to learn, grow, and achieve success. We are committed to fostering a learning environment where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential. By recognizing and building upon each child’s strengths, we nurture confidence, independence, and the skills necessary for school and beyond.
Inclusion is a core value of our approach to special education. We strive to ensure that students have meaningful opportunities to learn alongside their peers, with the necessary supports in place to help them succeed. Our goal is to provide individualized instruction and services that enable students to access grade-level standards and make meaningful progress. We provide specialized instructional environments tailored to each student’s needs if the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team determines that the general education setting does not support academic and social emotional progress. These programs maintain a focus on growth and independence, with the continued goal of a least restrictive environment.
Collaboration and communication with families, educators, and the community is essential to our work. Together, we create a school experience that encourages high expectations, fosters belonging, and ensures that every student has the tools and opportunities to thrive.
