About Mrs. Greco

Educational Background

I completed my undergraduate program at The College of New Jersey in Elementary Education/Biology.  I was hired in Warren Township in January 2001.  After teaching fourth grade at ALT for a few years, I decided I needed to learn more about teaching reading, so I attended a graduate program at Rutgers University.  There, I earned a Masters degree in Reading, a Reading Specialist Certificate, and a Supervisory Certificate.  Since earning my Masters, I have taken many additional graduate level reading courses through Marygrove College and the University of San Diego to learn additional instructional strategies and to keep abreast of current reading research.  After teaching in the classroom for 11 years, it was time to begin utilizing my certification.  In September 2011, I assumed the position of ASAP Reading Teacher and began working with students at ALT in grades 3-5.  I am excited to begin my 24th school year at ALT!
