Accelerating Student Academic Progress (ASAP)

In this program, students in grades 1-5 receive additional instruction during reading.  We use the SIPPS program to improve phonics, decoding, and spelling.  This program compliments the Being a Reader curriculum.  We also use the Fountas and Pinnell program called LLI (Leveled Literacy Intervention).  Students read additional fiction and nonfiction texts to improve fluency and comprehension.
