Letter from the Summer Fun Principal
Skip NavigationSummer Fun 2025 is right around the corner! I’m excited to return for my second year as the Summer Fun Principal.
My first year as Summer Fun Principal brought about some changes to the program, and year two is no different. I’m excited to announce that AlphaBest will be joining us this year to run our extended day and after-care program. Their expertise ensures a fun and engaging experience for campers beyond the regular camp hours! We will also continue to use Community Pass for registration and scheduling.
What I love about Summer Fun is that we offer both academic and enrichment courses; something that many camps in the area do not provide. Our courses are also taught by certificated teachers in a variety of areas such as STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), creative arts, health and physical education, logic and problem-solving, and social-emotional learning. Additionally, students can register for one period or all four, for one week, or all five weeks. Children can register for different classes each week allowing them to sample our variety of offerings.
Registration will officially begin on February 3, 2025, via Community Pass. Please make sure that you have a Community Pass account prior to registering. Emails have been shared with families who are new to the district to set up their Community Pass and Genesis linked accounts.
This year, we will continue to offer a 10% sibling discount for each additional sibling that registers for our program. We will also continue our limited refund policy with a 100% refund if requested by March 11, 2025, and a 50% refund if requested by April 22, 2025. There will be no refunds after April 22, 2025.
We are also excited to announce that our prices will not increase for the 2025 summer. All courses will remain at the $110/period per week for in-district residents. All out-of-district residents will continue to pay $125/period per week.
As we approach the summer, I am dedicated to ensuring that every camper has a safe, enjoyable, and transformative experience at Summer Fun. My primary goal is to foster a positive and inclusive environment where campers can explore, learn, and create lasting friendships. Open communication is essential, and I encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or suggestions. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us create the best possible experience for your child.
Sincerely,
Jessica Decelle
