Mt. Horeb School

 

 

 

Welcome to Mt. Horeb and to my Kindergarten Class! This will be a wonderful year of new beginnings and new adventures. We will learn, grow and build friendships. We will also spend much time fostering social and emotional learning. Thank you for sharing your children with me and entrusting me with their growth!

This week we will have the day of play on Friday

 

In math, we will work subtraction within 5.

 

In Fundations, we will practice tapping out CVC words to blend them. We will also learn how to segment words and make them as well as write them.

 

We will read a new big book: Mrs. Wishy Washy

 

We will write about our weekends

 

We will work in Language Arts centers (read to self, work with words, label writing around the room, Listen to stories.

 

We will learn about Wild Weather in science
