Boys Baseball Tryout Information 2025
Definitely one of the toughest tryouts. If your name is not on the list, continue to work hard, enjoy the game of baseball and come back next year. Over the years there have been many 7th graders that have not made the team who have come back and been leaders on the team. I am hoping and expecting that to be the case next year.
The following players please report to practice tomorrow. If you are not on the list please check your email.
Owen Dealaman
Roman Ricci
Chase Surbrug
Bubnowski, David
Clar, Nicholas
Cocuzza, Dominic
Desai, Maanav
DiBella, Michael
Ditta, Dylan Mason
Glynos, Dante
Guerra, Nicholas M

Walker, Robert D
Zambell, Owen
Players will be looked at primarily for fundamentals of hitting and fielding. Each player will have a numerical score based on how well they hit and fielded. Pitchers and catchers will also be scored. Players will also be timed running to first, and home to second. Lastly, but just as important as the other skills, will be coachability, or the player's ability to follow instructions without having to be redirected.
All boys attending tryouts should bring their glove, bat, batting helmet, catcher’s gear, and clothing to be INSIDE OR OUTSIDE. League requires drop 3 bats, played on 60/90 field.
In order to be on the team or try out, you must have at least a 70% average in all your classes and be in good standing with your teachers! If not, you need to make arrangements with your teachers to correct this. Reflections will result in not playing in the following game.
Remember, this league requires a drop 3 bat.
The team will practice Monday-Thursday from 3:00-4:30 PM. There will be Friday games. Once the season starts, home games will end around 6:00-6:30, and the team will return on the bus from away games between 6:30-7:00 PM.
