The Library will be closed during WIN today due to testing. However, overdue books can and should be returned to either drop box.

 

 

Attention Cross Country team: Our last home meet against Long Hill is today after school. All team members are welcome to attend. You must have a ride home. We will have practice on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Our Friday meet against Manville has been cancelled.

 

Boys and Girls Basketball meeting this Thursday October 21st at 7:30 AM.  Boys meet in the back gym and the girls are in the front gym.  All must attend who are planning on trying out for the school team.  If you have any questions, please speak to Mr. Mealey(boys team) or Mr. Fabiano(girls team)

 

The boys soccer team defeated Warren Hills 3-0 this past Friday. Once again, our strong defense by Ryan Mittra, Alexios Prysoolos, Antonio Giuliano, and Jesse Shapiro provided the opportunities to score. Goals were scored by JP Fernandez, Logan Pimentel, and Finn Byrne. Good job boys!

Winter sports

 

Winter sports sign ups will begin in Genesis on October 1st. The Winter sports available are Boys and Girls Basketball.

 

The deadline for signups and sports physical submissions is October 31st. All NJ State Sports Physical forms must be turned in by October 31st in order for the School M.D. to approve them prior to tryouts.

 

Sports forms cannot be emailed. All forms must be dropped off directly to the school to the attention of the School Nurse in the Health Office or uploaded into Genesis using the medical document upload portal.

 

If you have already submitted a physical for this year that is still current within 365 days,  then a Health History Update is all that is required to be submitted.

Everyone trying out, must have either a current sports physical submitted, or on file with the submission of a health history update form.

All forms are found on the WMS website under activities and athletics;  sports information and sports dates

 

Your student athletes' approval will be reflected in Genesis. All student athletes must be approved PRIOR to tryouts.
