Week of October 26, 2026
Reading: We will be reading books about the forest. We will focus on long u and long e spelled with a final e. We will also learn to read and write n't contractions. We will also discuss author's purpose for writing as well as reviewing retelling stories.
Writing: We will be visualizing and writing about a place we like to visit. We will use strategies like visualizing and sketching to help brainstorm ideas. We will also review common and proper nouns.
Math: This week we will fnish up Lesson 6: Solving 2 digit addition problems. We will also begin Lesson 7: Solving 2 digit subtraction problems.
