ALT's 5th Annual Reading Fair


 ALT's 5th Annual Reading Fair was held at 6:00 on Monday,

February 25, 2019.  This optional activity gave each student a

chance to highlight one of his or her favorite books, with the goal 

of enticing other children to read it.  The fair was open to students

in grades 3-5.  Participants could choose to work independently on

the project, or they could work with one or two other students (no

more than three in a group).  They also had the option of using a

fiction or a nonfiction book for their display.  The work for the

project was completed at home, and brought to school on the

evening of February 25th for the judging.  The boards were then 

   displayed in the library for the entire school to view

in celebration of Read Across America,

which was observed on March 7th this year.
