 Statement from Board President Tia Allocco and Interim Superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Nastus regarding the Study to Examine Enrollment Project (STEEP)

 At the April 25, 2016 Warren Township Board of Education meeting, a motion was made and approved that:  “...the Board of Education hereby agrees to maintain the district’s current configuration and support the administration’s efforts to optimize education delivery, facilities operations, and financial and transportation concerns in light of STEEP’s findings.”  The vote was six Yes, one No, and one Abstention.

 We would like to thank all those who participated in this project - from the administrators who patiently led board members on building tours, to the staff who shared their perspective during countless hours of interviews, along with the business office and the Buildings and Grounds Department who supported the data gathering and analysis. We also appreciate the support of our community members that demonstrated their commitment and passion for our district and we encourage you to continue to be engaged.

 The board and administrative team are committed to working together to ensure the district is providing exceptional programs for all students in Warren Township Schools.  Thank you for your support.
