Groups run throughout the year and new groups start every few months. Our current and upcoming group offerings are outlined below along with the tentative dates for upcoming groups. The first step for those who are interested in enrolling a child in one of our upcoming social skills groups is to contact our clinic program coordinator, Stefanie Marky, MSW at 732-445-0674 (email : socialskillsprogram@gmail.com) in order to schedule a social skills screening interview with a clinician at the Anxiety Disorders Clinic. Please note, spots in an upcoming group are filled on a first come first serve basis, and children may be screened for enrollment right up until several days before the group starts if it is not filled to capacity. While children participate in their group each week, their parents will meet 3 times, as a group, with a separate therapist to review the skills that their children are being taught and to learn how to reinforce these skills outside of the therapeutic environment. Parents will receive individualized feedback on their children''s progress in the group and will work collaboratively with the therapists to determine individual goals/skills that may be most critical to their own childs social success. Fall, winter and spring social skills groups and siblings groups run for 8 weeks with 1 hour sessions and will be held after school. The fee for the group is $400. Navigating College Life will run 8 weeks with 2 hour sessions and will be held after school on Rutgers University Campuses. The fee for this group is $650. Parent Support Groups run by social skills clinicians rotating yearly with 2 hour sessions each month in the evenings. The fee for the group is $600.
