Skip Navigation

Good morning Woodland Families,

As part of our school theme of Leadership, students and staff will be participating in a school wide Dr. Seuss Election on Tuesday, November 8th.   The purpose of the Election is to educate students about the power of a vote and the importance of making informed decisions.   Over the past week students have been educated by our Student Leadership Association about four causes that the Cat and the Hat could support if he were to be president.   Should he support Education, the Environment, Hunger or Kindness?  While all four are important causes students will vote on the cause that they feel is MOST important.   There will be a voting booth in the library that will allow students to experience what it is like when you vote for a president.   It is going to be a fun event and we look forward to hearing the results!!

Students are encouraged to wear Red, White and Black or Dr. Seuss themed clothing tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8th, in support of the Dr. Seuss Election Day.
