Good morning Woodland Families,

We are very excited about our upcoming Halloween festivities at Woodland School.    It is critical that you take time to read the attached information as well as the information below regarding the Annual Halloween Parade and PTO Trunk or Treat.  Also, I have attached information about the Spooktacular 5K Walk on Saturday, October 29 to raise money for the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

In order to ensure the safety of all students and their families during the PTO Trunk or Treat on Friday October 28th, please see the information below:

                            1.  In light of recent events, we ask that parents and students do NOT                                      wear clown costumes.

                            2.  Adults should NOT wear any masks.

                            3.  The playground will be closed for this event.

                            4.  This is NOT a drop-off event.  Parents must remain with their                                            children throughout the time that they are there.

Also, the PTO is still in need of candy donations for the event.  There is a donation bin located in the lobby of the front office.  Any candy donation is greatly appreciated.  Please do not send candy with peanuts or nuts.

Lastly, please be sure to read the attached information regarding the Halloween Parade on Monday, October 31st and the guidelines for the event.    As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Kindly,   Jeff Heaney
