We have a unique opportunity open to all WMS students. 

 

A prize will be awarded to the student who best expresses a response to the question: 

 

If you could ask one question to a current (living) esteemed civil rights leader, what would you ask?

 

There is a very tight timeline for this. All forms must be submitted by Wednesday no later than 5 PM to be considered. 

On Thursday, WMS students will receive another survey to vote for their top five questions. 

On Friday, a panel of teachers will select the finalist and they and the prize will be announced.

 Junior National Academic Championship 

 

ANSWERS: Ringo Starr, Glockenspiel, William the Conqueror, Colosseum, fjords, Joshua Tree, browser and Mozart

 

QUESTION: What are some of the answers our students knew in the Junior National Academic Championship preliminary games on Saturday?

 

Congratulations to our two quiz bowl teams. 

Warren A went 6-0 

and

Warren B went 5-1. 

 

Both teams advanced to the playoff games which will be held in June.

 

Stay tuned for the outcome of this national championship of 19 teams from across the country.
