WMS Daily Student Wellness Check should be completed everyday by 7:35 AM.
The votes are in for the WMS Solar Car Students' Choice Award, but before I announce the winners, I just want to say that each of the 11 cars in the WMS contest received votes by our student body, so congratulations to all of the cars in the event!
Now, for the BIG MOMENT!!
In third place with 33 votes is "Geoff" built by Shaan Dave and Michael Imiolek.
In second place with 45 votes is "Fluffy" built by Vanessa Spata and Sydney Paradise.
And the first place winner of the Students' Choice Award came in as a TIE!
With 73 votes each, congratulations to "The Mystery Machine" built by Olivia Bello and Alexandra Valyuk and to "Carney the Dinosaur" built by Kathryn Flannigan and Clarissa Kwan.
Great job, everyone! The winners will all receive Junior Solar Sprints t-shirts. Wear them with pride and remember that renewable sources like solar energy may one day power our automobiles, unless it's a really cloudy day!
