2019 Longhill Summer Band/Orchestra Program

The 2018 Long Hill Summer band/orchestra application and PTO scholarship form is now available online at my teacher webpage, in the band hall foyer, the orchestra room and the front office on the wall shelf. The band/orchestra music camp will run from June 26th to July 20th, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This music enrichment program is available to all current band students’ grades 4 through 12, and any new students wanting to begin playing an instrument. Each day, small like group lessons are taught on all instruments and there are five ensemble classes: Intermediate band, Advanced Band, Intermediate & Advanced Jazz Bands, Advanced HS Mixed Ensemble and a group Guitar class.

Again this year, the summer music program is including a string program, open to students, beginning through advanced, in all grade levels. Our WMS PTO is graciously awarding eight $150.00 scholarships to our most deserving band and orchestra students who attend the full camp. Partial scholarships may also be awarded at the director’s discretion.

If you would like further information, please contact John Seremula at his WMS teacher webpage or call 908-753-5300 x6061; or email Joelle Varner, the new Longhill band camp program director at:

Teachers remember to POST your daily attendance by 8:30 am each day.
