2019 Longhill Summer Band/Orchestra Program
The 2018 Long Hill Summer band/orchestra application and PTO scholarship form is now available online at my teacher webpage, in the band hall foyer, the orchestra room and the front office on the wall shelf. The band/orchestra music camp will run from June 26th to July 20th, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM. This music enrichment program is available to all current band students’ grades 4 through 12, and any new students wanting to begin playing an instrument. Each day, small like group lessons are taught on all instruments and there are five ensemble classes: Intermediate band, Advanced Band, Intermediate & Advanced Jazz Bands, Advanced HS Mixed Ensemble and a group Guitar class.
Again this year, the summer music program is including a string program, open to students, beginning through advanced, in all grade levels. Our WMS PTO is graciously awarding eight $150.00 scholarships to our most deserving band and orchestra students who attend the full camp. Partial scholarships may also be awarded at the director’s discretion.
If you would like further information, please contact John Seremula at his WMS teacher webpage or call 908-753-5300 x6061; or email Joelle Varner, the new Longhill band camp program director at:

Teachers remember to POST your daily attendance by 8:30 am each day.
TODAY Friday, March 29th the Warren Middle School PTO is proud to sponsor a sixth grade beach party! This exciting event will feature a DJ, dancing, activities in the gym and plenty of snacks. Participation in the event costs $5.00 and requires the attached permission slip for entry. The party begins immediately after school and students must be picked up promptly at 4:00pm. We are also looking for volunteers to chaperone and supply food items for the event. Please use the following link to help! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040f4ca9ad28ab9-6thgrade1
All proceeds from snack sales will go toward reducing the cost of your grade class trip so don’t forget to send your child in with money!
Lost and Found items are highlighted on our lost and found Instagram @warrenmiddlepto page. Follow us! Found around school items are taken to the APR and hung on the PTO rack and placed in the bin. Have a quick check this week at lunch to reclaim your property! Donating the unclaimed items at end of month.
Our school is looking to raise funds via Box Top and Amazon Smile. All of these methods will generate money for our school at NO COST to you.
Box Tops! We would love your support in collecting them. Box Tops are located on many items and they are worth 10 cents each. All you have to do is cut them out and send them to school with your child. Please see the attach document for detail information.
