The book fair had a great first day, we look forward to welcoming more LA classes today and all students are welcome to visit the fair during all Guides today and tomorrow.

Teachers are delighted to receive gift certificates from students and their families to purchase books at the fair to build classroom libraries. Please see a PTO rep at the fair to order these gift certificates ... it’s a great way to thank our wonderful and dedicated teachers here at WMS and also benefit our school.

And now, an update on the epic book fair challenge. Congratulations to the 6th grade who have a big lead with 129 books purchased on day 1 which equals 129 pieces of duct tape for Mr. Achtau.  7th and 8th grade have 40 and 32 pieces of tape respectively.  There are still 2 more shopping days of the fair so keep buying those books!!

Tomorrow we look forward to welcoming the therapy pets for those students that signed up in advance.
