6th Grade students new to Warren should come to Guidance during lunch today-bring your lunch.

 
8th Grade Chorus members will be meeting today in Room 37 during their Guide Period. Please tell your Guide teacher before coming to the Music Room.
 
7th Grade Band meets today during 2nd Guide. Be sure to eat your lunch during 1st Guide.
 
Tomorrow, 6th Grade Orchestra will have its first rehearsal in Room 37 during 3rd Period. All members should attend and please bring your violins and violas. Cellos are provided by the district.
 
The Boys' Soccer Team will practice today after school until 4:30 PM. The team will also play their game tomorrow at Branchburg.
 
The Girls' Soccer Team roster will be posted during 4th Period today. Come down and check during your Guide/lunch.
 
Cross Country tryouts are on Monday, September 19th and Tuesday, September 20th. Clearance letters have been handed out today to those students who have been cleared to try out on Monday.
Please meet Mdme. Boni and Mrs. Kraminitz in the gym after school Monday and make sure you have sneakers and a water bottle. Tryouts will end at 3:40 PM. There will be no late buses; you must have a ride home.
 
The deadline for Winter Sports Forms has been extended to 10/15/2016. Winter sports are Girls' and Boys' Basketball. You can sign up for Winter Sports in the Nurse's Office during your lunch or Guide and the Nurse will instruct you on what forms are required.
 
The NJ Fire Safety Poster Contest is open to all middle school students. Here is your chance to help promote fire prevention! This year's theme is  "Don't wait, check the date-replace smoke alarms every 10 years". If you would like to learn more about how you can submit a poster to this contest, see Mrs. Cooper in Room 32 for a contest packet.
 
If any 7th or 8th Grader is interested in participating in a Walking and Bus Tour of Princeton on Sunday, September 25th, please stop by Mrs. Cooper's Room 32 for details. This is an excellent field trip open to all 7th and 8th Graders. You will walk throughout the campus of Princeton University and then take a bus throughout Princeton to learn about some of the most fascinating people in history including Einstein,  Oppenheimer, President Woodrow Wilson, several Nobel Prize winners, and so many more. This entertaining tour will truly overwhelm your brain with amazing information.
