Independent Reading Log Requirement: 
 
Moving forward, students will be required to fill in a reading log online through Google Classroom, rather than completing Thinkmarks. Hopefully, your child is in a good routine with reading Monday-Thursday and thinking about their reading. The reading log will help us track your child's reading life. Students can choose a text of their choice to read each night. The reading log includes the title, author, minutes read, and pages read. Students are required to read a minimum of 20 minutes per night and fill in the reading log each night. They are really enjoying book clubs, so if you'd like to choose a book to read together and discuss the book, I'm sure they would love that!
