There’s none on land except insects.  Penguins, seals, whales, krill, sea birds live in the oceans.

 

Location of Antarctica

It’s surrounded by three oceans: Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and Indian Ocean.  It’s below the equator. It’s at the South Pole.

 

Climate of Antarctica

It’s brutal.  The temperature can drop 10 120 below zero.  Winds blow at up to 200 miles an hour. There’s lots of snow and ice.

 

Sciences being studied in Antarctica

Earthquakes, gravity, oceans, and weather conditions are all studied.

USA, Chile, Norway, Great Britain, Australia all have stations.
