General Information
The Department of Student Services provides services for students ages 3-15 with special needs, classified under Individuals with Disabilities Act and/or Section 504, Americans for Disabilities Act. (Children who have special needs under three years of age are serviced through the Somerset County Educational Services Commission.) Among the services provided are:
- Academic support
- Counseling
- Speech and Language Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Physical Therapy
Additional programs are also available for all Warren students under the Department of Student Personnel Services. These include:
- REACH and E2 (Gifted and Talented programs)
- English as a Second Language Instruction
- Character Education and Guidance Services
- Home Instruction
Members of the Department and other staff throughout the educational community serve on the Multi-Cultural Action Team (MAT), educating and protecting the rights of all.
