From Your PTO Co-Presidents…
Hello and welcome to all of our Woodland School
families! Hopefully this message finds everyone relaxing and enjoying
the last few weeks of summer! Your PTO Executive Board is busy
preparing for our 2008-2009 school year and it promises to be a fantastic
one! As many of you know our PTO is an active partner in the success
of our school. We will work with the Principal and staff of Woodland
School to help enhance every student’s Woodland Experience, support school
programs and also promote the involvement of parents in school activities.
The PTO hosts a number of fun & important
activities throughout the school year. These will include all the
assemblies and special events for the students. For information on all
school events please consult the Word at Woodland. This is a weekly
newsletter that is sent home via your child’s backpack every Monday.
It contains a wealth of knowledge about everything that will be going on at
Woodland for the next two weeks as well as any flyers that are sent home
with the students (i.e. Soccer registration forms, PTO Membership forms,
etc.)
We will be holding our annual membership drive in
late September and all families are invited to join. Your membership
dues will include the purchase of the Woodland School Directory.
Please look for this information in the Word at Woodland.
