Hello and welcome to all of our Woodland School families!

Your PTO Executive Board is busy preparing for our 2007-2008 school year and it promises to be a fantastic one! As many of you know our PTO is an active partner in the success of our school. We will work with the Principal and staff of Woodland School to help enhance every student’s Woodland experience, support school programs and also promote the involvement of parents in school activities.

The PTO hosts a number of fun and important activities throughout the school year. These include school time activities such as assemblies, Young Author's Day, Science Day to name a few.  We also sponsor activities outside of the school day such as Family Fun Nights, Mom's Night Out, Parent's Night Out and many more. For information on school/PTO events please consult The Word At Woodland. This is a weekly newsletter that is sent home via your child’s backpack every Monday. It contains a wealth of information about everything going on at Woodland School including grade specific attachments that are sent home with the students (i.e. Soccer registration forms, notes from your homeroom parents, PTO Membership forms, etc.)

We are holding our membership drive over the next few weeks and all families are encouraged to join. As a PTO member, you will receive a Woodland School Directory. Please look for this information attached to The Word At Woodland.
