School is OPEN on Thursday Feb 17th and Friday Feb 18th. Food will NOT be served on these days, please remember to pack a lunch for your child.
PTO Meeting - is this Wednesday, February 16th at 9:30am in the APR. All are welcome! See attached agenda.
Woodland Read-A-Thon - began January 31st. Please encourage your children to participate as it is a great way to get them reading each day. We have planned various school-wide "events" to celebrate when the total minutes read by all students reaches 40,000...80,000 and 125,000. Additionally, there will be drawings for individual prizes each week. The attached letter has additional details. Please use the attached reading logs to track weekly reading minutes and return them to school each Monday.
Dad's Reading Night - Wear your pajamas and bring your favorite bedtime story on Friday, February 25th at 7pm. Dads, uncles and grandpas bring the kids for a fun filled reading night. Bring any gently used children's books for our donation bin. Please see attached sign-up sheet.
Mini Scholastic Book Fair will be at Dad's Reading Night! Book fair opens at 6:15pm, before Dad's Reading Night begins. You can pick a book to buy and read if you wish. It will also be open at the conclusion of the Dad's Reading Night.
