Fundraisers

Dear Mt Horeb Families:

The Mt. Horeb PTO would like to thank you for supporting our Donation Campaign.  Thanks to your support and participation, we raised $16,500 to support the many programs we have planned for the 2011/2012 school year.  Thanks to your generosity we are able to continue with our planned programs.

Again, we gratefully thank you for your support.  We could not have done it without you!

Highlights of our recent events which helped raised additional funds for our school:

The Book Fair raised $3,600! 100% will be spent on Books. All Teacher Wish Lists will be fulfilled (approximately $600) and the remaining $3000 will be used to purchase books for the Library. We thank everyone who helped with the Book Fair, along with their flexibility despite the snow storms, power outages and schedule changes. Thanks to Colleen Abbot, Nicky Toor and Cecilia Fontana who chaired this event and to Mrs. O’Connor for her support.

The PTO Directory raised a total profit of $4,937!!! Randi Ross obtained ads valued at $3,970 and Dina Grochowski managed the PTO Membership and Directory Orders which totaled $1,730. This was a total of $5,700; the cost to print the directory was $763, which gives a profit of $4,937! Cathy Cooper handled the design and layout of the entire directory along with coordinating with our new vendor eDigital. A huge thank you goes out to Randi Ross, Cathy Cooper and Dina Grochowski for handling this year’s Mt. Horeb Directory. Special thanks to our proofreading team; plus our Homeroom Parents and Genny Trenson for providing the information.
