Mission

The Mount Horeb School Mission is to provide ALL students with a positive and challenging learning environment which empowers them to become responsible and productive citizens of the world.

Working as a partnership, the students, staff, parents and community, commit themselves to developing the social, emotional, academic and physical well being of all children. By developing critical thinking skills, communicated through literacy, fine arts, mathematics, technology and the sciences, the school is responsive to changes in the family, community and world.

Mount Horeb students will demonstrate:

Positive self esteem, self discipline and self-expression
Effective communication and social skills
Critical/creative thinking, problem solving, decision making and risk taking
Information literacy through the use of technology
